Clover Living’s Excursions

Where Should Clover Living Go Next?

Once warmer weather is in full swing in Calgary, we love taking our residents on field trips! We love going to places where residents can learn something fun or experience something new. Not only is it great for the residents to be outdoors and get physical activity, it gives them opportunities to socialize with their friends and enjoy creating new memories!

We’ve gone to quite a few places over the past couple of years, and here are some highlights!

Trip to Drumheller!
Last July, the Clover Living residents went on a trip to Drumheller! There they visited the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology to learn about dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures! Residents also had a great time exploring the hoodoos and the scenic landscapes!

Saskatoon Farms!
In August, we visited Saskatoon Farms in just south of Calgary. Residents enjoyed perusing through all the different farmers markets, beautifully decorated totem poles, the tasty artisan trea2ts, and of course the beautiful weather!

Time for Sushi!
The Glenmore Reservoir is one of the most picturesque places in the city! Nothing beats being out on the water with a mountain backdrop, unless, you finish off the day with a trip to our friends at A+ Buffet Sushi Bar!

These are just some of the highlights of the past year. If you have ideas on where we should visit, let us know! The residents are always up for seeing new sights, tasting new flavours and experiencing new environments!
